Couple Sealing Ordinance missing
My wife's paternal grandfather is Edgar "Clyde" Rock - KWCJ-W1R. He was born 17 October 1890, to Eliza Giralda Godfrey (KWZC-4R5). She did not marry at that time. About seven years later, on 22 December 1897, Jared Rock (KWZC-4RG) was married to Eliza Giralda Godfrey in the Salt Lake Temple. Source documents show a Salt Lake marriage license for that date. The FamilySearch records show the couple receiving their initiatory ordinances and endowment that date. The couple (Eliza and Jared) adopted Clyde (age 7). The FamilySearch record for Clyde shows that he was sealed to the couple on that date. However, the "sealing to spouse" was done by proxy, 24 January 1951, about two decades after the couple deceased.
Would it be possible for the Salt Lake Temple workers to research and verify the sealing of this couple - Eliza and Jared - on 22 December 1897, and update the Temple status in FamilySearch to show the couple sealed at the outset of their marriage.
