Disaster
The census is a disaster. There are large gaps on pages, there are skips, etc. It is extremely helpful to be able to look at preceding and following pages. For example, on headers when the names are hard to read the page before or after would be extremely helpful. Looking at one name in isolation is a recipe for disaster. The 1940 census was indexed in a matter of months. The reason for this mess is not unclear it is nonexistent.

@Juanita Smith_3 , thank you for your comment and suggestion with not being able to look at preceding and following pages. I'm not sure if this would be possible within this type of program where it was indexed with a computer. It is completely different than the indexing for the 1940 census.
Please feel free to express this concern and give your suggestion by clicking on "Feedback" on the home page of the 1950 U.S. Census.
Thank you so much.
