Have you ran into the one that have a last name in parentheses after "No One Home"? Does anyone know what to do with that? Have you found any rules on that?

You can ignore the name. The family will be picked up when the Enumerator returns. This may have been a note that the Enumerator put in when he got the name from a neighbor.

Or a mailbox. Or whatever.
It is just a note to help the Enumerator go back to the correct place to pick up absences later. It does not refer to an actual person yet, just a household. "Not a person" exception applies.

Hi, I am interested in the volunteer activity to improve names on census forms. Like the other questions posted here, quite a few say "No one at home" or "Vacant" in the name section. The scanner has tried to interpret these words as first and last names. I started by retyping "No one at home" as it appears on the form, but then I wondered whether I should skip these or even delete the words. I'd appreciate your guidance.

@MapleRB Thank you very much for your work. When you are working in Name Review and see encounter something that is not a name, please, click the little "not a person" icon on the bottom right of the screen, that will mark the item as blank. https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/review-names-help
