You can look up blank genealogy research logs as well. When I was getting my degree, I think we had students using at least 10 different logs. People will use them only if they feel a connection to that layout. I think I finally found mine after trying 4 others!

Thank you for making that point. It's true we will be more inclined to use what suits us best. Also what is good in one situation (census records) might not work it other situations (parish records or military records).
