Temple Cards

I just spent 5 hours reprinting ordinances cards because the cards are not given back. There has to be a better way. The paper, the ink and time is costly. I don't mind the ink and the paper as much as the time. I lost 5 hours I could have done research. I have to write every name and ID number down so I can reprint for a new ordinance. I can not rely on my reservations because I have found names that say they have been printed and I don't have the card.

This is an individual temple presidency decision. I get what you're saying and doing, because we all are having to do this. The main reason that they are not returning the cards is due to COVID. Since the temples are beginning to get back to pre-COVID status, so are the returning of the cards. Go to the temple office and ask if they are allowing them to be returned. I know at least one IS allowing this :-). The decision to allow the cards to be returned takes time because the presidencies have to coordinate with the office staff to figure out the best way for this to be handled and accomplished.
