Good evening, I am looking fot my great great grand father birth record,
His name is Charles Louis BELIN and he was born in Dottignies in 1853 (the 19th).
How could I find this record? I can't find anything for 1853 in Dottignies.
Any suggestion?

Hartelijk bedankt! Ik ben zo gelukkig! Ik weet niet hoe je aan deze link bent gekomen. Kun je me uitleggen hoe je eruit ziet? Ik gebruik alleen de tool "Zoeken" en vervolgens "afbeeldingen", ik vul de naam van de stad in en ik heb alle geregistreerde akten beschikbaar voor de periode die ik vraag. Helaas voor Dottignies is er niets als ik zo zoek. Misschien is er een veel betere manier om het te doen? Nogmaals bedankt, ik waardeer het enorm!

You can use your path, and it is a good additional path if followed, but more handy and to the point is
search=> catalog, then the name of the town , area, place.Be aware, if the system proposes choices , you have to enter the correct one of your intrest.(places do exist in duplicate), and the name proper of a destination,mostly returns the censuses also along with the 10 year indices.Try it out for Dottignies.
