Can no longer print temple cards

There seems to be an error with printing temple ordinance cards. When you select the people and ordinances and then click the print button, it doesn't open up to the usual PDF page (the page you actually need to print ordinance cards). Nothing happens, yet then those ordinances are showing up as being printed (which they are not). I'm not the only one experiencing this problem. Hopefully Family Search IT is aware and trying to remedy this.

The printing function has been working this morning, so hopefully it was a transitory problem.

I cannot print of cards too. When you get to the part of the process under Print Request when clicking on Continue, the "Continue" button goes grey and then returns to the blue colour. I am using Safari on Apple Mac.

    Firstly ...

    I just wonder ...

If there is STILL a latent problem/issue ...

    Secondly ...

    As an aide ...

    Have you already tried ...

The "Oldie"; but, STILL, often, a "Goodie" ...

"Clearing", the "Cookies"; and, the "Cache', of your "Browser" (and, even, your "Browsing History")?

It does not always work; but, more often than not it does

    Good Luck

    Just my thoughts.

I hope, that this may help/assist, somewhat.

I am not saying that the problem isn't happening. But it is not system-wide. Below you can see that I can still print cards right now. Using Chrome on a PC with Windows 11. This makes it much harder to find a solution.

    Norm

    It's 'Brett'.

    Just in passing ...

I would not expect, that too many, of the Users/Patrons, are using the "Operating System", of "Windows 11".

    Perhaps ...

That may be the 'Key' ...

    But ...

    That Said ...

I am equally certain, that NOT too many, of the Users/Patrons, would even want use the "Operating System", of "Windows 11", yet.

I for one, have no intention, of "Upgrading", to "Windows 11", for some time.

Plus, MANY of the Users/Patrons, may NOT even be able to "Upgrade", to "Windows 11".

I have read, that there are "Requirement" for "Windows 11", that preclude it being used on some computers.

    So ...

    That Said ...

IF, the "Clearing" of, the "Cookies"; and, the "Cache', from one's "Browser" (and, even, your "Browsing History"), DOES NOT work; THEN ...

I would humbly suggest, that for the many ...

The "Printing", of "Temple" Cards, continues/remains to be, a SERIOUS, Problem/Issue ...

    Just my thoughts.

You have no way of knowing how many users are on Windows 11 @Brett .

Don't try to discourage people from upgrading if you haven't even used it.

I'm trying to illustrate that the printing issue is not universal and encourage some discussion and experimentation. That is what Community is supposed to be for.

    @Norm Jones

    Norm

    It's 'Brett'.

How dare you suggest, that my intent, was to "... discourage people from upgrading ..." to "Windows 11".

I suggest, that many people, will certainly make their own judgement, on whether (&, how soon) to upgrade ...

From "Experience", many of us ALREADY know, NOT to be TOO "Quick", to "Upgrade"; especially, with regards to "Operating Systems".

Please DO NOT "Lecture" ME, on what this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, is all about.

I have been helping/assisting, in this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, for quite a number of Years.

And, I will continue to do so; unless, I am made "persona no grata'; which, is on the cards ...

There have ALREADY been, OTHER, later 'Posts' indicating, that the "Printing" problem/issue STILL persists.

"Discussions" on the matter, already exists; and, continue ...

And, I have been suggesting, the "Oldie"; but, STILL, often, a "Goodie", of "Clearing" of, the "Cookies"; and, the "Cache', from one's "Browser" (and, even, your "Browsing History").

I do not need to encourage MORE "Discussions", they already exist.

    But ...

    That Said ...

    Luckily ...

Certainly, NOT, that prevalent; as, of yet ...

    All

    FYI

    Just in passing ...

Another User/Patron has advised, that they were able to "Print", the "Temple" Cards, by switching to the "Browser" of "Brave"

    https://brave.com/

NOT one of the "Browsers", this is "Fully" supported, by 'FamilySearch' ...

    But ...

    That Said ...

IF, it works; THEN, ... 'Beggars CANNOT be CHOOSERS' ...

As, an interim measure, for those, that want to give it a go ...

    Good Luck.

    Just my thoughts.

    Brett

    ps: From the OTHER User/Patron

I used the Brave Browser to print the temple cards. Hope you can too. Ric
