    Hello @Leslie Edmunds,

This is a record from the public orphanage in Stockholm. This is a file for Maria Lovisa Gustafsdotter. Born 1860 on 27 January, christened on 28 of the same month at Ladugårdslandet parish. The word in the field for parents (föräldrar) is Okände which means unknown. On Feb. 9, 1860 the child was received at the orphanage. The receiving fee was paid and was 300 (not sure if he meant Riksdaler or Crowns). The no. 142 Sp. B. (abbreviated for Späd barns) afdelnings prot. d. 15 February, 1860 refers to when the child was registered in the infant child division of the orphanage on that date. The rest of the information below the headings has to do with the placement to foster families. On May 30, 1860 the child was placed to a farmers widow Anna Jonsdotter from Jernhyttan in the parish of Nora Berg of Västerås diocese, later placed with tenant farmer Carl Johan Johansson and his wife at Östre Bergs farm, Karlskoga parish, Karlstads diocese. The orphanage would send money to the foster family to help support the child. The Dec. 9, 1861, March 16, 1865, and Dec. 3, 1868 all have to do with money sent to the foster parents. The top row is "beviljad belöning af" .. and then amounts refers to the amount of money granted to the parents.
