Finally found link to asking a new question flush bottom right. It's under a blue circle with a white plus in it. It was unlabeled and took 3 second mouse hover to get the <alt> text = "New Post Menu"

to appear

Bookmarked link to : https://community.familysearch.org/en/post/question/memories please don't change url. Community can't help with "read only PID" editing.

thanx

Hi @D'merrill I think this is the result of Responsive Web Design which allows the web page to adjust according to the user’s screen size. You probably have your screen zoomed in (made larger), so the web page changed to look like what you would see on a mobile device.

To test that try zooming out (making the font smaller), the new post button will appear at the top of the right sidebar. And, if you zoom in (making the font bigger), that's when you see the blue icon on the bottom right (which you already showed us).

Please let us know if you have anymore questions.

Yup it's the zoom. I now have a choice between not being able to read smaller text, or remembering blue+º = ask question link, or just using the bookmark.
