Translation help especially for occupations and labels of sponsors
Sorry if this is not the place as I am a newbie, but I have some images that are from original FHL films, but locked to me (but available on Ancestry so that link provided). I would like verification of my translations as I think that the occupation might not be correct as well as what comes before the sponsors names. First a question: Are you aware that the pre-printed left-hand page of this image is for births and baptisms but the pre-printed right-hand page is for marriages? The scribe, however, filled out the right -hand page as if it were for births and baptisms and continued the entries from the left-hand page. Very strange indeed.
Comment: Your translation is excellent. You identified the father's occupation of "Ackermann" correctly. I have no corrections to make to your translation. FYI: I translate "Ackermann" as "farmer" rather than "small farmer" but that's your choice.
Here are the statements for the three sponsors transcribed and then translated for each:
(1) der Ackerm[ann] Joachim Görges = the farmer Joachim Görges.
(2) der Ortsvorstehers Sohn Christoph Könke = the town administrator's son Christoph Könke.
(3) die Ackerm[anns] Tochter Catharine Marie Görges = the farmer's daughter Catharine Marie Görges.

Thanks so much for your help. I thought I could make out daughter and son on the sponsor's description, but couldn't figure out how that would enter into the description.
