Feedback: Increase group reservation list limit

When I first used the group list it was limiting it to 300 instead of the 1000 as I think the blog post said it was supposed to. I do not know if it was fixed since then, but please increase the limit to 1000. Even a single person should be able to put 1000 names in the group.

It was so easy to hit the 300 limit and frustrating. I ended up having to share the additional names by emailing my family PDF files of the cards they could print.

They went on a temple work vacation to go to the temple every day for a week or so and they went through many ordinances.

There were a lot of frustrations in hitting limits and inconveniences the first time I tried to use the group list, but I used it again this month to send a lot of names and I was okay because I learned the idiosyncrasies. My dad was still frustrated in trying to print what he wanted. I left feedback in other posts about improving the filters.

It is unfortunate that limits in the temple list and in actually going to the temple make what is otherwise a wonderful experience often frustrating. For example, one day I was turned away from the name printing area and had to go home and reschedule so I could bring my printed name. Yes, I was supposed to remember, but sadly they would not make an exception for me one time. This has me thinking of another post.

300 is the churches position as some people have thousands waiting to do the work to be completed. The idea is it should encourage you to share the work with your family, friends and ward members. Even one endowment a day for a year is 365.

The 1000 is the limit of reservations in a Family Group. The article below tells about it.

    Hope this clarifies the situation.

I was aware of that, but when this was first released it would cut me off at 300 or less. I do not know if they fixed it since.

I also understand that the personal list is limited to 300, but it was limiting the group list that way too.

The group limit is 1000 rows. Each person has a limit of 300. As such, since the ordinances stay on the person's personal list when shared to the group, each person can only contribute up to 300 rows towards the 1000 row limit in each group.
