Were ordinances performed for the wrong sex; what to do?
Two sisters might have had their ordinances performed as males, not females.
Their PIDs were created May 25, 2012 & the sex for both of them was entered as "male".
Their ordinances were done in 1998 & 1999,
Today I attached the Research Hints that verified the sex for both of them is "female".
If I change the sex to "female" will the ordinances need to be redone? Or were the ordinances done correctly?

Please pass this on to the department that can help me with this issue.
Thanks.

Use these directions to help you resolve the issue:
If you find that a person's ordinances were done for the wrong sex, you can resolve this issue in Family Tree using the website or mobile app by changing the sex of the individual. You do not need to report the issue to FamilySearch Support.
Steps
- Sign in to either the FamilySearch website or the FamilySearch Family Tree app.
- Navigate to the person whose ordinances were completed for the wrong sex.
- Correct the sex for the person.
- Click the Ordinances tab.
- If the ordinances show as complete, no further action is needed. If the ordinances need to be redone, you can request them.
- If ordinances show request, you may request the ordinances.
- If ordinances show "not available," contact FamilySearch Support.
