I can't find Palestine under country listing
I was born in Palestine (NOT IN PALESTINE, USA). I am referring to the real Palestine.
If Palestine is not under the country listing--at a time when Palestine is the source of the origins of Christianity--how can I search for people born there?

I just had a quick 'look', in the "Place Name" Database, in 'FamilySearch':

And ...
'Palestine'; as, 'County', IS there ...
So ...
As such ...
You should be able to record 'Palestine'; as, a 'County' ...

I just tested this and was able to add "Palestine" as a birthplace against a "Test" individual I have created.
I had thought this might create a problem - at least that the ID might be added to my "private space" - as I believe there are restrictions when adding data that relates to the Middle East and other areas of "political sensitivity". Maybe this only applies if you are adding more detailed information - like sources or certain dates.
So, as Brett says, Palestine is certainly available as a standard placename, but you might experience problems with adding further details that refer to the country.
