Temple Shared Names

Hi Bob - Thanks for posting your question on Family Search Community. The quick answer is that the reservations or ordinance status will now be on the record that survived the merge. Exactly what will be there depends what was on the other record. For example, the record that your record was merged with may have had completed ordinances so ordinances are no longer needed. The record may have had ordinances reserved by someone else. The best thing to do is to look at the record that survive the merge. One way to find that record is by clicking on the name on your shared temple list. Even though it will now show the person as deleted, you can still click on "Person" and go to the person page for the deleted record. Then click on latest changes (right side, show all) and it will show you the record that survived the merge. You can go to that record and review the ordinance status and take any appropriate action if needed.
Bottom line
1- Complete any review you want to do of the record that survived the merge
2- Unreserve the ordinances on your list as instructed
Hope this answers your question. If you have further questions, please let us know.

Don't forget to double check that the merge should have been done. Were they really the same people? If not, then unmerge them.
