Inserting names that are left out on an indexing page
I am reviewing. The indexer left out a bunch of names from the first column and went on to the second column. Is there a way to insert the missing names without deleting all of the names from the second column and redoing them? I have tried, but have been unsuccessful. Also, if it isn't possible to insert names, can I just add them on at the end of the review/index page? (Do the names indexed have to be in the correct order?) Thank you.

You can add names in the order they belong by using the + Icon (7th from the left). You can add as many as you need before the first or last entry. To add lines in the middle of a batch, click on the record BEFORE the place you need to start adding, select "after the current entry" and you can insert as many records as you need.
Although it doesn't matter as much in web-indexing as it did when we had the arbitration system and needed to match two indexers entries to choose the correct answer, the PREFERRED method is to have them in order.

yes do what @Melissa S Himes has instructed. When you add entries you can insert them where they belong, 1 here, 4 there, and so on. You can change the amount it inserts.
dont just add all the missed entries at the end because when that happens and another reviewer goes over it, (they will have to because of the new info you added) and they find them all there it causes an issue. When this has happened to me, I personally dont know any way of rearranging existing extries and i would have to delete them. Then go in and insert blank entries where they belong and fill it in
Sorry that you have to deal with this batch, Its annoying when indexers do that. Im glad you caught the mistakes and that youre looking to correct it!
