My mother was born Kendra Vaughn on the 31st of March 1969 Wichita, Sedgwick, Kansas, United States after birth she was adopted and had her name changed. She has not displayed any desire for any connection to her birth parents. I expressed my own desire to know of them a little over a year ago and someone shared a good but cheap DNA site I could not use at the time. Now that I might be able to use such a site, I can't find the link. If someone could help with either issue I'd appreciate it greatly.

AncestryDNA has the largest database, so you may get more matches with it. Currently it is on sale for $49.

Thanks but it won't take my debit card. And the number won't give me a real person.

I missed cyber Monday but it still won't take my credit card. Maybe it's cause I actually use a debit? The problem is probably with me so I'll have to look into that portion on my own. In the meantime, is the information i provided about my mother worth any thing or am I stuck figuring out my issues with modern currency?

If other members of her family have done DNA testing, which is becoming more likely, you should be able to determine her birth family. I highly recommend using AncestryDNA, since their results can be shared and they have the largest database. I would be happy to help you analyze your results when you get them.
