how do I verify the person giving permission to do someone's temple work

I received an email asking me to verify the relationship of the person who gave me permission to have my aunt and uncle's temple work completed.

Paul North Spencer and June Cusick Spencer

I sent all the information ask of me. My cousin gave me written permission through an email. I have added his name to his parents record.

Do I need to send the email to someone? How do I verify he is Paul and June's son?

Thank you for helping. I am anxious to get started on their temple work.

    As Brett suggests, this is better in the Temple category so I have moved it.

    From your comments, I assume that you have already submitted the request to do the work and have received an email request for the information you refer to. There is a specialist team dealing with these types of requests. If you are not sure what is required, I suggest you reply to the email sent to you and ask for clarification.

    *******Brett please read this. ********

    Bret, IN YOUR REPLY, PLEASE INCLUDE: Your user name (your sign in) and your helper number (found in settings, then permissions. Please include Paul's ID number..

    You need to make sure you list your cousin in the appropriated family in your account. The internal department will be able to see him/her, and other than you no one will be able to see him/her because the are in Private spaces because he/she is living.

    We will submit what we have, but IT IS IMPORTANT you

    @jannyman9

    FYI

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    [ And, I happend to be a member of the Church ... ]

    Can I humbly suggest that, you REPOST / resubmit this query of yours, in the "Q and A" Section, under the 'Category' of "Temple", as a 'Question'.

    That way, your post will get noticed MORE quickly by the "Moderators" [ ie. 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel) ].

    Here is the direct link to that "Temple" category; so that, you can repost your request:

    "Q and A" Section

    Category = Temple

    Home > Ideas > Family History Centers

    Temple

    https://community.familysearch.org/en/categories/temple-support

    https://community.familysearch.org/en/categories/temple-support

    Of course ...

    You may get lucky, with your post, here in this 'Category' (of "Other"); and, a "Moderator" (ie. 'FamilySearch' "Support" Personnel), may eventually, find; and, "Move" (and/or, "Take"), this post, to be actioned.

    Good Luck.

    I hope this helps, somewhat.

    Catherine

    This is another EXAMPLE, of why, I do not like the "Moderators" [ ie. 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel)], having such power and authority; especially, those who are NEW to; or, LESS frequent users of, the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    When I saw your 'Comment' referencing Me (earlier, this afternoon, my local time), I was both, confused; and, slightly 'put-off' (and, offended) - hoping such was in error; as, we all make mistakes.

    I decided NOT to respond, hoping for either, a "Retraction"; or, your 'Comment' to be "Deleted".

    As a "Moderator" [ ie. 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel)], you should have the ability to "Delete" both, of those 'Comments' of yours, referencing Me.

    As an aside ...

    Another thing, that I find totally UNACCEPTABLE, is the ability of "Moderators" [ ie. 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel)] to mark their 'Comment(s)'; as, an/the "Accepted Answer" (ie. NOW "Best Answer").

    The ONLY "Person", that should have, the ability to mark a 'Comment'; as, an/the "Accepted Answer" (ie. NOW "Best Answer"), SHOULD be the ORIGINAL submitter/poster of the 'Question".

    Plus, more "Training" of "Moderators" [ ie. 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel)] is NEED; before, being unleashed, in the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, with such power and authority.

    And, I have already expressed my thoughts to Management of the the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    Brett
