    Juanita

    Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    I am a little confused ...

    Question:

    Are you referring to, not 'seeing' yourself, in the Principal position, in the "Pedigree" View?

    Or,

    Question:

    By Chance, have you "Changed", the Family Tree Starting Person, in your "Settings", in 'FamilySearch'

    ie. Settings ---> (FIRST, Default) Account 'Tab' ---> (Down bottom) "Family Tree Preferences"

    Family Tree Starting Person

    The default person that appears at the root of your Family Tree.

    Or,

    Question:

    Somewhere else?

    Please advise.

    Brett

    @Juanita Carstens Bird

    Juanita

    'Yes', that definitely appears to be YOU.

    Lets see ...

    First thing ...

    Go to the "ChangeLog" [ ie. https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/changelog/[PID] ]

    You can get there by either,

    (1) Using that URL, with the 'FamilySearch Person Identifier' (PID) at the end; or,

    (2) Go to "Latest Changes", down to the bottom of that Section; and, select "Show ALL"

    When you are in the "ChangeLog", go right down to the bottom.

    You are 'looking' for, "Vital Added"; and, that being the FIRST time that the 'Vital' of "Name" appears.

    Question: WHO is that "Name"? ... Is that YOU?

    IF, that is NOT You; THEN, WHO is it?

    IF, it is you; THEN, at some stage, you must have "Change" the "Name", to the OTHER individual/person?

    IF, it is NOT You; THEN, are you using ANOTHER User's/Patron's 'FamilySearch' Account (eg. Family member)?

    Please advise.

    @ZNN

    Question:

    WHY do "Moderators", ADD a 'Comment'; and, then, mark their 'Comment'; as, an "Accepted Answer".

    That should NOT be, done; or, allowed, under any circumstances.
