Temple Ordinances not showing up in record
My husband and I are doing the temple ordinances for my brother Mark Hedval K2YF-25M in April and December of 2009 in the Portland, OR temple. We Have the Blue ordinance card showing the Baptism, Confirmation, and Initiatory being done on 8 Apr 2009 and the Endowment being done on 22 Dec 2009 all at the Portland, OR temple. None of these ordinances are showing up in Family Search as having been completed. Please explain what we need to do to make this happen.

Hi Linda,
We found your brother Mark Hedval in the Family Tree with ID K2YF-2SM. This is a letter "S" and not the number "5." We see that his ordinances are showing on this record.
P.S. For your safety, please do not provide your helper number in the public forum. Missionaries who show as "Mod" may send you a private message and ask for this information. Please mark this comment as "yes" below if it was helpful, or post another question.
Thanks!

Hello Linda,
We understand you have the blue ordinance cards detailing the completion on your brother, Mark Hedval, but they do not show in Family Tree. The ID number you gave, K2YF-25M, has a '?' for the name, and was combined with Charles William Higbee, L4SL-BW4.
We found two Mark Edward Hedval’s on Family Tree. The ID numbers are L6KJ-D1R and K2YF-2SM. These are listed as Possible Duplicates. One has parents listed, the other does not. The 2nd one also has the ordinances listed. You may only need to merge the two records, and all will be well.
We are enclosing the article link about merging by ID, in case it is needed. Click link below:

Good luck with the merging.

Thank you for your help. I did the merge process so his temple work shows up. I don't know how he could have gotten two ID numbers.

If more than one family member created a record for Mark, while he was living, each would have a different ID number. A family of 5 could have 7 ID numbers for a single living person, one for each parent, and all children in the family, because of the FamilySearch privacy policy. You can view the living people only if you created a record for them. The article link below may be helpful.
