The entry on Aug 11 1742 for Johan seems to have been aributed to FS ID L6PG-MCV, Johanne Nielsdatter Pochier. The family also includes a son, Johan, FS ID LRQD-993, born 1745 for which there is a record. Can you give a full translation of the entry. Interested in what is says after the name Pochier. Is child's name in fact Johan? What is the text just "Johan? Thanks for your help to solve this problem.

This birth/christening entry actually begins with the date 11 August and continues down the column until the line that reads "18 August". The red box includes the "faddere-godparents/sponsors" for the previous entry dated 23 June.

Your entry reads: "d. 11 August Niels Pochier en Son Kaldet Johan. Christen Gajes(?) kone Karen Jensdaatter bar dend(?). " That translates to: "the 11(th of ) August Niels Pochier, a son called Johan. Christen Gaje's wife Karen Jensdaatter held him (ie. during the christening)."

The godparents/sponsors are then listed: Christen Gaj, Niels Jensen in Heldum(?), Jens Gaj, Anne ?daatter, and Karen Nielsdaatter.
