This person is a daughter of John Mahaney and Mary Ann Pruett, a twin daughter. Though her given name is similar to the Spanish word for "Miss", I have found documentation that this is the baby's actual name.

The necessary documentation is found under Memories in the Document section, attached to this person. This documentation shows the families of Mary Ann Pruett and her two husbands, John Mahaney and William Charles Lowder. This document is a photocopy of the journal entry that was kept by the circuit-riding Baptist preacher, John J. Watts (JJ Watts). He wrote these journal entries on all the families he served, i.e. those who lived in the rural Missouri counties of Texas, Pulaski, Phelps, Dent, and Maries from 1878-1912. That was his circuit.

As is sometimes seen today, twins can be named similar names, maybe even rhyming names. This daughter is named Senora (which could be a creative variation of 'Nora', an Irish name). Her twin sister's name is Medora.

Notice too that, while the twins were born on the same day, Senora died on Oct 6, 1890 and Medora died on Oct 9, 1890.

Today I sealed Medora to her parents, John and Mary Ann Pruett Mahaney. I would like to receive permission to seal Senora to her parents as well.

Thank you,

Donna O'Hara

Okay. Apparently the system's mistaking "Senora" for "Señora".

Just contact FamilySearch support and they should be able to release the ordinances to you.

That's really strange that it's doing that. Good luck!
