Ordinances brought up for printing but not printed are marked as printed!

A nice search feature is to sort ordinances by whether or not they had been printed. I share with a lot of people so I'm not always sure who has what. So I sort them by what hasn't been printed. However, today I brought up some ordinances to take to the temple but when I did, they indicated the baptisms & confirmations had not been done. Why this was so I don't know since in the list they only showed initiatory, endowment and sealing. But because I brought them up, and even though I checked the box which said the ordinances weren't printed, they were marked by the program as printed. So now they're lost in the never-never land of printed cards until another year or two pass and I can see they haven't been done, or the family history notice comes through that they're expiring. Very exasperating! Can this be fixed?😫

@Ancestryann, when you share B and C ordinances with the temple, you will find those ordinances on your shared list, not on your personal list. Your personal list will only include the ordinances you keep for yourself. When you share ordinances with family members and friends, all ordinances are moved to their temple list and until they complete just the B and C, they cannot return the other ordinances to you, so it sounds like you shared the B and C with the temple system and they have not had a chance to complete those ordinances yet. If this was the case, the I, E and SP will show as Waiting in your list because ordinances must be completed in the proper order.

If you wish to have someone work with you directly to confirm that this is what happened, you can still call our toll-free support number, 1-866-406-1830, and one of our Agents can provide Remote Assistance to connect to your computer to look at your temple list to offer suggestions about how to make sure things are working correctly.

I do understand that part of your issue is related to you believing cards have not been printed when the system says they have been printed. We could investigate that will you as well through a call.

Thank you for your reply. Twice now I have brought up some cards for printing and could see that I was not able to do the initiatory or endowment because the baptism and confirmation had not been done. They were before me in the card view, ready to print. So I cancelled out of that, and marked the box "no" that asked if temple cards were printed. Then a message popped up saying those ordinances were marked as printed. I could no longer sort and find those particular people in the "not printed" view. I wonder if that could be fixed.
