Record is missing a birthplace but has a christening location
Pretty much just as above, I'm just wondering if I can safely assume the birth and christening places are the same, or if I need to keep looking. I can't perform the sealing ordinance until it has a birthplace.

This gives you the information required to perform ordinances. As you can see, a standard date and place for christening is sufficient. There is no need to assume a birthplace based on christening place. As stated, they are often the same but no always.

Hi, @richardgordonbaird1 you may want to do your best in finding the birthplace, but sometimes if the ancestor lived a long time ago the christening may have been just down the road from their birthplace. If you have one place but not the other, you could use it until you learn more, and change the accuracy of the birthplace if needed in the future.
