Can not find Marriage record from 1939
I have been for a month and a half been hunting for the marriage record for my Grandfather's second marriage. I know they were married because death records for him and his second wife indicate such. Thus beginning the search for the marriage record. I did find an announcement which was short and sweet in a newspaper in a local town in South Holland, Leidschendam, marriage date was not in the ad on have the date it was published (4 July 1939) when looking on Family Search at the images of the town the latest is 1812 and nothing later. If I go to Zandvoort were he was living I can find records in the 1940's. Is there a reason I am limited in Leidschendam or did those get move to another municipality like the Hague? Can anyone help?

It is always interesting to provide names,..not only localities.
The name of your grandfather and the name of his 2 spouses.I would suggest to add childrens names
also.

Very good yes I agree and thank you for responding. My Grandfather's Name Leonardus Jacobus Koomen, Married Theodora Hendrika van den Burg in 1922 November She died right after Child birth June 1938. There were 5 children, my father one of them. Grandfather remarried some time in 1939 before or in July to Wilhelmina Anna Maria van Veen who was born in Stompwijk,.

Found Hendrika, at wiewaswie.nl ,and indeed, died at 05/06/1938 and was living in Zandvoort.
Marriage cert
The second wife, died at Zandvoort 11/12/1950 aged 51 as the widow of your grandfather who died at Zandvoort 13/02/1945. Nearly all certificates are on wiewaswie, altough i did not find The marriage certif of the second marriage

Thank you for looking, Adrien, that is exactly where I am. All I have found is the newspaper ad announcing that they have been married in 1939. But that is all I can find about the second Marriage. Are you and I related , I have seen you name before on other family entries?
