What about the name Kwiatkowski? I see this name often in Lutheran records in Poland.

My family Jewish. My GF is Rachiel Kwintowski 1891 Volkorutz, Poland. I have different spellings for his father Shloim Kwintowski, Selema. I have less information on mom. Both sons Americanized her name to Ethel or Ella. His full brother Abraham 1888. I have records in US but can not trace back. GF would not talk and neither 1/2 sister Rose.

I can relate to our immigrants not talking.

Is Volkorutz the birth place of your GF. I cannot not find this place using https://mapa.szukacz.pl/mapnik.html I suspect this was written on a document not issued in Poland. Have you got any other information regarding the area they came from. Locating this village or town may give us a clue to a large town where a Jewish church may be found.
