His name was Piotr Juza b1880 Smigno, Austria/Hungary. Immigrated in 1903. Lived in New Hampshire. Looking for information before he came so I can find his family, my ancestors.

The FamilySearch Wiki has lots of info about Poland and info on the databases that you can search online.

What document did you find the village Smigno in? Do you have his immigration record?

According to this gazetteer, Smigno belonged to the Roman Catholic parish of Lisia Góra. Records can be accessed here. You could try searching the baptism records in 1880 for any potential matches. I would also search all the U.S. records you can find for his whole life (including his death certificate) if you haven't already, just in case any of them happen to mention his birth parents.

Could this be your great grandfather? When searching databases it's advisable to look for a year prior and after circa.

Thank you for looking but his birthday in all his records say June. Of 1880. I found something on Geneteka that might or might not be him too.
