That is odd ...
I suppose, it depends on what you mean by "Copy" ...
I have recently 'seen' Users/Patrons to my local "Family History Centre" of the Church, doing just that which you are trying to do.
As far as I was aware,
▬ they "Downloaded" (ie. "Copy") of MEMORY from MEMORIES in 'FamilySearch'
▬ then, went to "Colour" Application, in "MyHeritage_com"
▬ then, "Coloured" the "Downloaded" (ie. "Copy") of MEMORY
▬ then, RELOADED "Coloured" MEMORY; as, a "New" MEMORY in 'FamilySearch'
... [ leaving the ORIGINAL, 'in situ', as is ]
Question: Is that what you were trying/referring?
ps: I am sorry, I am interstate at the moment, so I can ask/confirm the situation with the Users/Patrons, who are Regulars to my local "Family History Centre".
I did figure it out; however, I can only copy thumbnails which aren't large enough for the My Heritage color app. So back to square one 😄
You need to download the image, not copy it. On the memory, click on "Actions" and then select "Download". Then put the image where you want it, rename it if you want, etc. Then upload to MyHeritage.
yeh - it may be a bit cumbersom and tedious - but you can definitely do it.
aHA! Got it! Thank you!
im not sure you really have to download the item or not
but you cant point it at the thumbnail and expect it to dowlonad the full size photo. you would have to point it at the address of the full size photo and you would need to be logged on to that system
if that doesnt work - then yes the download is the other option.
