Hello,

I am wondering if anyone can help me with the translation of this record for Ane Kristine Dahl

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-L944-X3NM?i=49&cc=2078555&personaUrl=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3AQG88-PD6N

Specifically, I am hoping to find out if any information was listed about the father, other than his name. I'm pretty sure this birth was out of wedlock so I am not sure where else to turn for any information on him.

The man who the mother claimed was the father, Lars Andersen, was a "tjenestekarl", ie "a farmhand" (see Danish Genealogical Wordlist here: https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Danish_to_English_Genealogical_Word_List#T ) in Salling (probably Skarp Salling, a parish in Ålborg county). I don't see him in either the 1845 or 1850 census in Skarp Salling, Ålborg or Øster Jølby, Thisted. There is a Laurs Christian Andersen in Skarp Salling in the 1850 census, but he would have been only about 18 years old when Ane Kristine was born. See here for that indexed census record: https://www.danishfamilysearch.com/cid7129947
