I just had a thought. The 1950 census is due to be published in April 2022 (I think). We will be indexing those records like we did the 1940 census? If so, is there any idea when that project will begin? That was such a joy to participate in doing.

The 1950 US Federal Census will be released the beginning of April 2022. Once it is released, then indexing will commence.

Thank you for your reply. If I offended anyone I sincerely send my apologies. My intent was not to offend the majority of the world. Just a simple question although I am sure you know what I was referring to.

The 1940 US Census came out in April of 2012 and it took just about a month to have it all indexed and released on Family Search. It was so thrilling to be involved with that project. Yes the 1950 US Census is due out in just over a year. I am looking forward to it. I can not imagine that we as indexers would not be involved again this time.
