I would like to see the passenger roster for the SS Austrian (Allan Lines) that left Galway in June 1880 and arrived in Boston later in the month. I have one page of the passenger list but I need to see the entire list for research I am doing.

Janie, it might help to provide some names that have been found on the document that you have. Many times we locate passenger lists by using an individuals name, rather than knowing what ship they sailed on, or what ports they reached.

Can you share the names of the individuals that you know were on the page that you have?

Hello, and thanks for your assistance. Here are a few names from the one sheet of the passenger list:

Alex Fitzgerald, Elizabeth Carroll, John Alexander, John Doherty, Janet McKellar, Martin Darcy, John Oliver, Hugh Riley, Tom Finnegan (the last three are listed as stow-aways). The first bunch of name were residents of Glasgow but I am more interested in the emigrants who boarded the ship in Galway. Again, thank you so much for your help.

OK, let's ask for help with this question from the @Scotland Genealogy Research group and the @New England group to see if they can help you find the passenger list.

@Janie K  - Using the FamilySearch Search => Images feature here is a data base with the 1880 Boston, MA passenger lists. They are not extracted - you will have to search in them for your ship.

@Janie K - Your ship starts on image 33 of that record collection and goes for about 8 pages - that was a packed ship out of Glasgow!

Robert, Thank you so very, very much! The poor people on the ship were headed for hard times those first years in the states. I am so grateful for your assistance.
