According to the Swedish Death Index 1901 - 2009 Nils Olof Bergqvist was unmarried. A marriage has been found in the Netherlands to Eva Elsinga. There is a notation on the congregation record that mentions her name. I need help with the translation.

It is down on line 20 with all the colorful check marks. Thank you for your help.

There is a death record in the Netherlands as well as Sweden, with the same date.

I'm not sure of the whole note, but it mentions a type of certificate 1620/8 (possibly implying a date, possibly a record number) for [I think] a giftermål (marriage ceremony) for him and the Dutch woman Eva Elsingen in Rotterdam, who it says was born on 21 Dec 1889 in Wolvega (in Friesland in the Netherlands).

I found a listing for Eva on WieWasWie (linked):

    Child: Eva Elsinga

    Born: 21 Dec 1889

    Gender: Female

    Father: Geert Elsinga

    Mother: Aleida Oord

    Document type: civil birth record

    Heritage institution: AlleFriezen (a website)

Place setting: Leeuwarden (you could try contacting the Leeuwarden historical centrum via https://historischcentrumleeuwarden.nl/over-ons/e-mail-2)

    Collection region: Friesland

    Archive: 30-41

    Registration number: 1051

    Act number: 0445

    Registration date: 21-12-1889

    Place: Weststellingwerf

Collection: Archive name: Burgerlijke Stand Weststellingwerf - Tresoar, source: book, Deel: 1051, Period: 1889

    Book: Birth register 1889

Note: The municipality of Weststellingwerf is not yet involved in Alle Friezen. This means there are no scans of the birth records.

Thank you so much for your help! The Swedish Death Index must be incorrect. Thanks again. Rebecca
