Hi Everyone. I am helping someone find a date to when a person passed away. I was wondering if anyone can possibly read the date on the headstone or if they live near the cemetery if they can go take a look at it and read the date there. The person who has passed away is Abbie E French Hull and she is buried in Highland Cemetery Montague, Franklin County, Massachusetts, USA. Thanks for the help.

Unfortunately I cannot make out the date. I also tried searching using Ancestry.com and could not find any records. There are a few trees out there with her name and her husband's name - however, they have a death date of 1946 which does not tie to the stone.

Magnified photo could not figure out the day but the month seems to be May, Also checked on newspapers.com but no obit on there If you go to the find a grave page of Abbie E French right below the photo of gravestone you will see photo added by James B, if you click on his name it will take you to his page and you can message him

This is pretty recent, have you tried calling the cemetery and asking them to check their records? You could also check newspapers.

@Michael David Bendall if you click on your link to find a grave, click on the guys name that posted the picture (James Bianca) it will take you to his page where he has been very thorough and informative, his page says to send him a message and he will happily respond or take photos or assist with whatever info one may need. So I would suggest that route to get the correct dates 😊
