(whose ancestors came from a restricted country) to view temple ordinance work done.
Currently the Church temple records and my personal records are out of sync.
I was made aware of the inconsistency when I raised a Case.
This is making it almost unworkable going forward.
This is impacting all church members whose ancestors are from restricted country.

The Church is attempting to establish working relationships with various groups who consider our vicarious work to be an affront to their beliefs. And in other situations, not an affront, but an "attack" on their rights as far as their religion is considered. This is especially true with more fundamentalist/radical groups within the religion.

Any policies the Church has with regard to these matters come down from the highest levels of Church authority.

I am well aware of the sensitive nature of the vicarious work being done in the temple. In fact for me to perform the work so far I had to get head quarters approval first.

The problem I am faced with is that in 2001 I partially completed the temple ordinances (Baptism and confirmations) for my ancestors.

This record for this work appears to have been lost.
Fortunately I had kept the temple cards as proof.
A number of cases have been raised try to bring the familySearch record in sync with my personal records.

What I'm requesting is that FamilySearch allow permission for me to view my own personal ancestry temple ordinances just the same as other members.
I have already received approval to perform the temple work from headquarters.
Surely such a individualized permission feature is possible.
So that I can have the same level of viewable rights as other members.

I'm not requesting to have permissions to view any other individual ordinance work that is not an ancestor.

The feature you are asking for is under development and we estimate it should be available around Q4 this year.
Thank you for your patience as we take a very measured approach to what can and cannot be displayed publicly.
