Justin Masters said: There's an annoying bug when attaching a 1940 census to a person who was born between 1936 and 1940.

You're given a place of " , , " (space, comma, space, comma, space), but since they're not born in 1935, they shouldn't HAVE a place, however, removing that entry results in this error:

However, if I leave it there (once the error is triggered), I get the same error.

Refreshing the page starts anew, and I leave the extra characters in and it works, but when I get back to their person page, I get an error on the residence like this

So... it appears that I'm darned if I do... and uh, darned if I don't... leave those characters there.

Jeff Wiseman said: I agree with Tom. And after you have linked the source in, You can go under the Residence-Edit link and delete the entire Residence.

Obviously the red exclamation mark is telling you that there is no Standard Place that has been used to Standardize the place " , , ". This in itself is a data error.
