Jeff Wiseman said: Yes it is. This has happened to me many times.

It also appears to be a bug. In most user interfaces that use the little down arrow or right arrow to the left of the title to expand or collapse the field, you have to actually click directly on the arrow itself (and sometimes the title. But in the subsection on the Details View of a person record, you can go all the way over to the extreme right hand side of the row containing the title, and clicking there will expand or collapse the section. It is exacerbated by how high the row is.

These are essentially "Hidden Links" and should not exist. Hopefully someone from FS will respond to this.

Gordon Collett said: It's not a bug, it's a feature that has been present ever since the release of the newest user interface. Such expanded targets are present all over the page. Just gradually move your cursor in all the blank spaces and see how often it changes from a simple pointer to the icon that shows you can click. For example, with all the links in the right hand column for Research Helps and on down, you can be almost all the way to the right margin, far off the text, and still click. Also, to add a child, you can click anywhere in the box that link is in. You don't need to click right on the text "Add Child."

In the years before new interface was released, this board had a fair share of complaints from people who could not hit the tiny targets for links due to various types of physical impairment. One can certainly argue that the programmers went overboard in addressing this issue, but it was clearly well meant.

Ok so it's not a bug but it is totally inconsistent with all other applications that I've come across in industry
