Québec or Quebec in Standardized place
For many years, until this morning, I was able to enter "L'Islet, Québec, Canada" as birth place and it always allowed me to request the ordinances for that individual borned in that place. Today, I entered two individuals and when I checked the ordinances, I got a message that "It needed more information". In FamilyTree, it had a RED ! next to the place name "L'Islet, Québec, Canada". After changing for the standardized place "L'Islet, Quebec, Canada" with an "e" without the accent, it allowed me to request all the available ordinances.
French people living in "Québec" write the name of the province like that. I enter name of places using an auto key box called "Xkeyes" and here are some of my régular entries: Cap-St-Ignace, Québec, Canada; L'Islet, Québec, Canada; Montmagny, Québec, Canada; Rivière-Ouelle, Québec, Canada; Kamouraska, Québec, Canada; Rivière-du-Loup, Québec, Canada; St-Louis, Kamouraska, Québec, Canada and never had to change "Québec" for "Quebec" in order to request ordinances until this morning.
I am sure accented characters are used in other countries. They should be allowed as "Standardized places" without questioning.
