Can someone correct information for temple work?

My sister, Judith Vivian Dana (LX5F-THV) passed away on May 23, 2021. She and her husband, Kenneth Bentley (GZNR-PY5) (living) were planning to be sealed when she became so ill with cancer that they were not able to go to the temple. Now he is ready to be sealed to her. She had temple sealings cancelled from her two former husbands, but it does not show that the sealing ordinance can be performed for her and Ken Bentley even though he has permission from the Stake President, etc..

How can this be corrected on Family Search?

Thank you,

Carol Dana Baugh

    Hello Carol Dana Baugh

Welcome to the FamilySearch community, and thank you for your question regarding Living Ordinances.

    Sealings to deceased family members

    • To be sealed to a deceased spouse, first, talk with your bishop. When you are ready, call the temple to make an appointment for the sealing. Take the following items with you:Your temple recommend and the recommend for living ordinances.
    • A family name card for the deceased spouse if any ordinances need to be performed before the sealing.
    • A family group record that shows the living and the deceased family members to be sealed. (This is not required but is helpful to temple staff.)
