Download ancestry.com file

I am hoping that I can download my extensive family tree from ancertry.com to my family.com. How can I do that? Can I do that?

Hi there

Just letting you know that this site is for Issues related to FamilySearch. We do not support Ancestry.com or My Family.com

Having said that creating a gedcom from Ancestry.com and then importing to My Family.com may work if my Family.com has that option.

If you go to the help feature in Ancestry it should have the instructions on creating a gedcom. Not sure about my family.com

I'm guessing you really meant Familysearch.org??

MyFamily.com closed September 2014. I think he does mean FamilySearch.org.
