Pre-1500
Pre-Covid, I painstakingly submitted all the information and documentation required to obtain approval to do the temple work for my direct-line ancestor Friedrich von der Windelen, GST-7-MQS. I was approved and was emailed the card to print out, and have printed it. Now that temples are slowly opening up, I have scheduled a baptism session for early in September at which I plan to do his baptism. However, the temple does not schedule initiatories on the same date. Nor will his card be returned to me, I am told. How, since I will be unable to reprint his card from Family Search (since it is pre-1500), do I obtain an updated card so that I can go on to perform his initiatory and, ultimately, his endowment? Thank you.

Just a thought - why not copy the card you have, so that when the time comes you will have a new card for the Initiatory and another for the baptism!

Thanks so much, Sister Hawks. That's a great suggestion, and I've done that. My concern is that temple workers typically won't allow you to do an ordinance w/o inspecting the date/temple stamp proving that the preceding ordinance has already been completed. I will try printing out a screen shot from FamilySearch showing that the preceding ordinances were completed and will bring that to the temple for the future ordinances, but I'm not sure whether that will work. There really should be some mechanism so that this works without having to jury-rig it. Thanks again for your suggestion, though, and I will certainly give that a try!
