incorrect line

If the line is incorrect, and the incorrect issue is just with birth dates and places, for example, just correct it.
Otherwise, just disconnect yourself from this line and leave it alone. It's someone's line for sure.

Are you certain that line is your line?

please clarify what you mean by "line that is incorrect"?
do you mean an incorrect parent-child relationship?
what is the "right information" you are trying to add?
can you share with us the ID of a few of the people in question?

Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
'dontiknowyou' raises a very good 'Question' ...
Further to that ...
Questions:
Are you, absolutely certain, that the particular "Branch", in your "Ancestral" Lines, is incorrect?
Have you thoroughly, researched everything, to be certain?
Did you, yourself, associate that particular "Branch", with your "Ancestral" Lines?
Or, did ANOTHER User/Patron, associate that particular "Branch", with your "Ancestral" Lines?
IF, the association with your "Ancestral" Lines, was by another User/Patron; THEN, have you tried "Contacting" the OTHER User/Patron, through "User Messaging" in 'FamilySearch', to discuss the matter?
Now ...
Those asked ...
In the first instance ...
IF, the association with your "Ancestral" Lines, was by another User/Patron; THEN, you should, at least, try "Contacting" the OTHER User/Patron, through "User Messaging" in 'FamilySearch', to discuss the matter.
"Collaboration" is the key.
Whereas ...
IF, you do not receive any response, from the OTHER User/Patron; and, you are absolutely certain, that the particular "Branch", in your "Ancestral" Lines, is incorrect; THEN, you can simply, "Detach"; and, disassociate, that particular "Branch", from you "Ancestral" Lines.
When all, is said and done ...
Just make sure, that you do, your "due diligence", making certain (ie. as well as you can) that, that the particular "Branch", that is now associated with you "Ancestral" Lines, is incorrect; BEFORE, "Detaching"; and, disassociating, said "Branch".
As, you never know, it may be a "Branch", that you were just not aware of.
I hope this helps, somewhat.
Brett
ps: IF, you need advice, on how to "Detach"; and, disassociate, that particular "Branch", from you "Ancestral" Lines; THEN, please advise; as, there are "Knowledge Articles" in 'FamilySearch', that we can provide.

Detangling can be very involved. What is one of the PIDs you need help with?

Please DO NOT provide the details of those concerned, at this stage.
I will, shortly add, in this post, of yours, the "Knowledge Articles" in 'FamilySearch' ,that should allow you to undertake the work yourself.
Just give me a few minutes.

Depending on the situation (ie. Couple Relationship; and/or, Parent-Child Relationship) ...
Here are some "Knowledge Articles" in 'FamilySearch':
Couple Relationship
A person in Family Tree has the wrong spouse
https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/a-person-in-family-tree-has-the-wrong-spouse
Parent-Child Relationship
How do I correct parent-child relationships in Family Tree?
In the first instance, go through those "Knowledge Articles".
Trying to address/fix incorrect. Couple Relationship; and/or, Parent-Child Relationship, takes time.
One must always do their "due diligence" by researching (ie. checking out) the "ChangeLog", for ALL the persons concerned.
IF, those "Knowledge Articles" do not help; THEN, please come back her to this post of yours.
Good Luck.
I hope this helps.
