Hi

Patrons have been careless in adding families together. They look at the parent’s names, but don’t look at the places of birth and end up creating huge families with children born all over the country (England).

I have separated multiple records and created correct family relationships. (I always include Sources if they are available) . This has caused a problem in as much as Temple Sealings to Spouse and/or Parents now show as needing to be done. My understanding is that this can be remedied

We have checked the records for the ordinances.

There is a deleted record for John Head MF11-8SS which is the one for the original sealing to Mary Seaman 9K47-VGF. This record had been merged into John Head LVQ8-KMW.

You could restore the record and merge it with John Head G84C-JTB, this would restore the original SS

The children have all been sealed to Mary Seaman as the mother but the father for Mary Ann 9JX2-F97, Eliza 9JX2-FWL , John 9K47-P36, Jeremiah KGCS-RCZ and the 2nd John 9K47-VL6 have been sealed to John Head LVQ8-KMW who is of another family you mentioned.

Restoring John Head MF11-8SS may restore the SP for all of the children except Mary G84C-6WZ has had no previous sealing.

So the advice would be to do another SP for them if the sealings as they will not be restored with John Head MF11-8SS, as this would seal them to the correct parents.

It will also create a ghost SP.
