Hi All

I have just started tracing my family ancestry. Before I knew virtually nothing, but now have quite a lot of information.

Plus traced a 2nd cousin!

I was wondering if anyone has a connection to two of my great grandfathers?

William Brown born 1856 Stanley Common, Ilkeston. Died 1910. Married Elizabeth Cotterill born 1860, died in the 1940s.

And.

William Mills Born 1961 West leake. Married Edith Bootheway, born 1863 Gumley Leicestershire.

I would be grateful for any information.

Thanks for your help

Chris Brown

    Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    FYI

The area in the Forum, that you have posted, you 'Request', in is really the 'Feedback' medium for 'FamilySearch', rather than a medium, to post requests, for help/assistance, like yours.

Can I humbly suggest, that you consider, REPOSTING, this post of yours, in either; or, BOTH,

    [ 1 ] "Q and A" Section

The "Q and A" Section, possibly under the 'Category' of "Family Tree", rather than this "Ideas" ( ie. 'Feedback') Section, under the 'Topic' of "Family Tree".

In that 'Category' of "Family Tree", other Participants in the Forum may be able to provide help/assistance.

Here is the direct link to that 'Category' of "Family Tree" in the "Q and A" Section:

    "Q and A" Section

    'Category' = Family Tree

    Family Tree

    https://community.familysearch.org/en/categories/family-tree

    https://community.familysearch.org/en/categories/family-tree

    [ 2 ] "Groups" Section

The "Groups" Section, possibly under some 'Group(s)', rather than this "Ideas" ( ie. 'Feedback') Section, under the 'Topic' of "Family Tree".

In that/those 'Group(s)', the members of that/those 'Group(s)' may be able to help/assist; and, would only be too will where they can.

The 'Groups', that I would initially suggest would be either; or, both:

    [ a ]

    Good Luck.

    I hope this helps.
