I was wondering if it's in the records, who might have been in a mission in 1952-1953 timeframe in New Jersey? I have the names, Jowett, Armitage, Kershaw, Sykes, Wilson in my tree but can't find the connection. Can someone help with this? Thank you so much for your time.

    Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

[ And, I happen to be a member of the Church ... ]

Not that I can be of much help/assistance; especially, with that 1952-1953 period ...

    But ...

    That Said ...

You could try searching in the following:

    [ 1 ]

    Missionary Database ( 1830-1940 )

    https://history.churchofjesuschrist.org/landing/missionary-databasehttps://history.churchofjesuschrist.org/landing/missionary-database

    [ 2 ]

    Missionary Database - Story ( 1830-1930 )

    https://history.churchofjesuschrist.org/story/missionary

    [ 3 ]

    'FamilySearch' "Campaign" - Missionary

    https://www.familysearch.org/campaign/missionary

    Good Luck.

I was thinking about this earlier; but, was not sure, if it was any good ...

    But ...

    That Said ...

You could try an contacting, someone from the "Missionary Department", of the Church Headquarters of the Church, in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA; and, simply try to get pointed in the right direction.

You will most likely, be directed, back to the "Church History Library"

[ as opposed to, the "Family History Library" ]

You may not have any success; but, ...

Nothing Ventured ... Nothing Gained ...

    Just a passing thought.

ps: 'Thank You' for the appreciation.

Thank you for this! The dates are a bit earlier than i was hoping for. Perhaps next year when the 1950 census is released, these records might be updated as well. I hope so!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻. You are not lowly.... You are a wonderful helpful and thoughtful man. Thanks again Brett!! ♥️
