I'm duplicated with a combo of deceased/living.
Whoever entered the records for me, my ex-husband, and my children incorrectly marked all of us as deceased. Unfortunately, I had no idea when I began setting up my own record, and just stumbled across it today while uploading and comparing gedcoms. I've tried requesting that we all be changed to living, but several days later, the change hasn't been made.

BDPool,
We received your question about changing deceased to living and merging the two records.
We would recommend the following two
We wish you much success.
Thank you for using this wonderful website.

Welcome to the Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
There have been some recent significant change to the way that 'FamilySearch' "Support" works; and, I have NOT tried changing, an individual/person, from "Deceased", to "Living", since that recent change.
When you 'say' that "... I've tried requesting that we all be changed to living, but several days later, the change hasn't been made ...".
Question(s):
When you 'tried':
(1) Did the "System" indicate that the matter would go to 'FamilySearch' "Support" for investigation?
(2) Did the "System" provide a 'FamilySearch' "Support" Case number?
Now ...
That Said ...
It used to be, a simple matter, of going into the "Death Record", for the particular individual/person concerned; and, "Changing" the 'Staus', from "Deceased", to "Living".
When one did such, the following happened; and, occurred:
(1) One had to provide a "Reason This Information Is Correct"
(2) When one "Saved", you were advised that a 'FamilySearch' "Support" Case was submitted/created; and, the matter would be investigated.
(3) There was NO immediate "Change"; but, in fact, the matter is PENDING, subject to further investigation
(4) 'FamilySearch' "Support" would investigate, where there were two (x2) possible outcomes:
.... (a) 'FamilySearch' "Support" agrees with you, where the 'Status' is "Changed" to "Living".
And, IF, that is the case; THEN, the DUPLICATE then disappears for "Public" view, into the "Private Spaces" of the User/Patron who created the record.
.... (b) 'FamilySearch' "Support" disagrees with you (which I doubt0 - the 'Status' remains a "Deceased".
But ...
That Said ...
The "Process" ONLY takes a day or so.
Whereas ...
You indicate that it is "... several days later, the change hasn't been made ...".
That seems to be taking far too long; but, there could be a BACKLOG in 'FamilySearch' "Support", due in part the recent significant in the way that 'FamilySearch' "Support" operates.
As such ...
I would humbly suggest, that this matter of yours, in this post, NEEDS to be TAKEN "Directly" into the workings of 'FamilySearch' "Support", by a "Moderator" [ ie. 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel) ]; and, dealt with you, "Privately", communicating with you via/trough, ("Private") 'Messaging' in 'FamilySearch"; and/or. direct "E-mail".
As an aside ...
Here is a "knowledge Article" in 'FamilySearch':
How do I change the status from deceased to living in Family Tree?
Not that this helps.
Brett
ps: This 'Comment', is ALSO, just a "Hint" for the "Moderators" [ ie. 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel) ]
