    Hello @LenoreAkerson1

The Baptism and Endowment ordinance dates I see for Thomas Meriwether LKMP-PV9 match up with the dates you have given for the Baptism and Endowment.

The Sealing to Parent date is 9 May 1946 in Manti rather than the 1993 date you have. If an ordinance is performed more than once, then the earliest date will display in Family Tree.

The Confirmation and Initiatory dates displayed are 2003 and 2008. The reason why the later dates show is that when the ordinances were completed in 1992 and 1993, the actual date of the confirmation and Initiatory was not stored in the ordinance database, even though the official temple record contained the dates. The Initiatory and Confirmation dates in this time period are recorded as 'Completed'. In FamilySearch, if there is a date recorded it will display that date rather than the word 'Completed' even if the ordinance was completed earlier.

These knowledge articles provide further information about ordinance dates:-

    I hope that makes sense.

    best regards

When looking at the ordinance, there is no couple relationship chosen; therefore, no sealing. The above links will have information that may help with your question.

    Hello @LenoreAkerson1

In addition to what @DebDT has posted....

There does need to be a marriage relationship for the Sealing to Spouse show. It would be good if you could add a marriage relationship, even an approximate date and place.

I did a bit of research. The 1996 Sealing to Susannah Shelton is on record ID (LV13-MBX) for Thomas Meriwether. But you can't see it in Family Tree because there is no marriage relationship in Family Tree between this Thomas and Susannah.

You might want to have a look at this (LV13-MBX) record for Thomas. He has a different birth to your Thomas. Is this the same Thomas and should the record IDs be merged? Or are they different people and your Thomas born 1677 was married to Susannah?

If the Sealing to Spouse to Susannah Shelton should be to Thomas (LKMP-PV9,) please add an approximate marriage and let us know.

    regards
