go back says I am working on shared batch. It seemed to have been started before I stepped in. 10 of the records had data entered. Corrected some entries.

This time, when I went to resume, said I was working on shared batch. I entered for 15th record, entered the data, then it said I was again working on 15th record and all data I had entered was gone. Looking back all data I had entered on previous 14 entries was gone. Why, and was this because the due date was not met???

Somewhat frustrating to have data on first 14 records disappear. Thanks for your help.

Did you enter a share batch code from another indexer to help answer a question about a batch? Sometimes they will get stuck in your cache. One way you can be sure it is a shared batch is that you will not be able to see the reference images when you attempt to click on that icon. You cannot SAVE changed or entered data on Share Batches. Only the indexer who downloads a batch can work on it.

In any event, you should delete the batch from your My Batches so you don't work on it again.
