How do I insert temple ordinances onto a person I added to a family group?

I have inherited my parents and grandparents records. I am trying to make certain they are listed on Family search before I discard the duplicate copies. I located a child listed on my father's work from 1996. He has dates of temple ordinance work done in 1944/1946. The child was not listed on Family Search and Now I have the temple ordinances reserved to keep from having the work done again. I just don't know how to add the dates based on family records.

    @Jody Barton

    Jody

    Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    [ And, I happen to be a Members of the Church ... ]

    As an aside ...

    Just for future reference ...

    The best place to post matters, such as this, pertaining to "Temple" Work, is under the 'Help Centre Category' of "Temple", in this "Q and A" Section.

    Here is a direct link to that particular 'Category':

    "Q and A" Section

    Category = "Temple"

    Home > Help Center Categories > Temple

    Temple

    https://community.familysearch.org/en/categories/temple-support

    https://community.familysearch.org/en/categories/temple-support

    Now ...

    That Said ...

    HOPEFULLY, one of the "Moderators" [ ie. 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel) ] HERE in this Forum, will find your post HERE, in this 'Category'; and, either,

    (1) "Move" you post to that 'Category' of "Temple"

    .... [ So that, this matter, can be TAKEN, into the workings of 'FamilySearch' "Support" ]; or,

    (2) TAKE ON, the matter, DIRECTLY, into the workings of 'FamilySearch' "Support", 'as is', from HERE,

    to help/assist you.

    I know that this does not help; but, I hope is helps if you need help/assistance with "Temple" Work in the future.

    Brett

    ps: I would ,"Move" this post of yours, if I could; but, I do not have, that ability, like some of us used to.

    You cannot record the ordinances for family members in FamilySearch. If you go to the Help center and look for this Knowledge Article: Missing ordinance and membership information in Family Tree, you should find the information that will help you. You can also post the PID number in the Temple help center and someone will get back to you asking for the information needed to finish the ticket and get the ordinances posted in FamilySearch.

    @dannf21

    FYI

    That is correct.

    'Jody' has ALREADY, posted her "Request", for help/assistance, here, in this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    That should be sufficient.

    There should be NO need, for her to post the 'FamilySearch Person Identifier' (PID), of the individual/person concerned, in the "Public" nature of this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    As a "Moderator" [ ie. 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel), surely you yourself, could TAKE ON, the matter, DIRECTLY, into the workings of 'FamilySearch' "Support", 'as is', from HERE, this post, to help/assist 'Jody'.

    In the least, if you have not already done so, communicate with 'Jody' DIRECTLY though a "Private" 'Message'.

    Not everyone wants the 'FamilySearch Person Identifier' (PID) of their, Family; Relatives; or, Ancestor, displayed, in the "Public" Nature of this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    IF, as a "Moderator" [ ie. 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel), you have the ability to "Move" this post, from this (incorrect) 'Category' of "FamilySearch Community', to the (correct) 'Category' of "Temple"; THEN, can I humbly suggest that you do so.

    'Thank You' in advance.

    Humbly submitted for your, information; attention; and, consideration.

    Brett
