My sister is Alice Lou Eldredge and her ID number G8QW-H3F My name is Julie Rodriguez my Id is KWCZ-ZM4. Our parents are Frank Aubrey Eldredge KXCQ-XYY and Esther Edda Rogers KZCQ-XBM . I have her Certificate of Baptism and Confirmation but cannot scan and attach it. It certifies that on June 3, 1953 by Philip I Sonntag and she was confirmed on July 5, 1953 by Elder W Daniel Day. This was done in the South Edgehill Ward in the Hillside Utah Stake.

Can you please update her Baptism and confirmation in FamilySearch so that I can go and request the rest of her ordinances?

    Hi Julie

What needs to happen for your sister is that her death date needs to be added to her membership record. This is normally done by the ward clerk at the time of death. As an alternative, if you can add a proof of death to her family search record then we can have it added to her membership record. Once that happens, her ordinances completed while living will be shown. Let us know when you have uploaded a proof of death. If you can't do that, you could attach it to your reply here on community. We have also sent you a private message for additional information. Thanks

    Hello @Rodriguez, Julie

It appears that your sister's Church membership record has not been marked as deceased. The ward or branch clerk must add a death date to the Church record before you can find the deceased person in Family Tree.

Is it possible for you to contact the ward or branch clerk?

We see that you have added the baptismal certificate as a memory item. We also note that the death certificate is in Memories, as well.

You should reserve the ordinances now in order to prevent duplication of ordinance work.

Please let us know right away if it is possible for you to contact the ward or branch clerk. If that's not possible, then we can forward your question to another specialty team for review and resolution.

Your question will be forwarded to a specialty team for review and resolution. You may be contacted by that team if they need to gather more information.

Thanks for attaching the memories to your sister's page.

my sister Alice Lou Eldredge has not attended church since she was about 14 years old. I can only surmise that her record that you require is somewhere in the church record archives. She has moved around a great deal and I know that there is a very slim chance that this record you require will not be found in Mesa Arizona. I am confused as to what I can do to further this process along. I would very much like to do the work for her in the temple. Please advise

Julie, did you not see the message above that states Alice's ordinances are now displaying as they should in Family Tree?

Please sign into FamilySearch and go to Alice's page: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/ordinances/G8QW-H3F

Her baptism was completed 3 June 1953 and the confirmation was completed 5 July 1953. The remaining individual ordinances are available to request.
