We tried to replicate your experience without success. Meaning we went to the portrait view without any issues. This leads us to believe that the problem must be in your computer. Have you cleared cookies and cache from the browser you are using? You could also try to use a different brower. If both of these attemps fail, please reply here and we will look at other options.

    Hi Pamela

This can be frustrating. What browser are you using? Is the browser up to date and when is the last time that you were able to clear cookies. To clear cookies from just Family Search type www.familysearch.org/cookies in the address bar.

For best results use Google Chrome or Firefox. Safari and Edge will work if you are using the latest version.

    Thank you Family Search

It's not doing it for me right now, but I've had this happen. This may be one of the few times where the oft-repeated advice about cookies and cache actually does help. (It seems like the sort of thing that would be explained by something in your cache being overpersistent.)
