Why do I need permission to seal my sister to her husband who passed away in 1988. All of his work has been done except being seal to my sister and to his parents. I do not want to do the sealing to the parents, because I did not know them. I have a scheduled appointment at the Gilbert Temple on Sept. 1, 2021 to seal my sister Shirley Jean to her husband Ken. Please contact me ASAP or release the permission so I can print the card. Thank you Laura Bohn

Since you are her sister (sibling), you can perform the ordinance for her after one year she passed away. Just submit the pop up form in FamilySearch, and then the officer will grant permission and notify you so you can print the card.

You may see the below link for your reference. Thank you for your kind attention.

I want to seal my sister to her husband. I have be given permission to do his work but I cannot do the sealing without getting permission from his family for that? What is it that I need to do to have the sealing happen?
